One account. Website and game.

Your website username and password are also your game login. Create it here, then download the client and step inside.

No email needed. Save a recovery key after signing in; it is the only way to reset a forgotten password.
Keep your character deletion PIN private. The game asks for it when you delete a character.
Evenfall99 is in early access and still being tested. Your progress stays when it ends.

Your first evening
Open Evenfall99.exe (the golden E) in the extracted folder and press Play. Choose CH1 and sign in with your website username and password.
Tip: when you create your character, choose Jinno (the blue kingdom). Most players are there, so you can team up.

Before you step inside

Windows is required for this client.
Extract all files before launching. Don't run the game from inside the ZIP.
The game status is shown at the bottom of this page.
You download the client only once: Evenfall99.exe keeps it up to date and downloads only what changed. Your characters are saved on the server.
Best time to play: every evening 20:00–22:00 Irish time, when the Evenfall hour gives everyone +50% EXP.
Saturdays 20:00–22:00 Irish time: Metin rush, with extra Metin stones and double drops.
New characters get the Newcomer's Blessing until level 30: double EXP, faster movement, +50% HP, +30 defence and +20% damage against monsters.
Rates: x10 EXP, x10 drops and x10 Yang.
Every character gets a starter kit: +9 weapon and armour, the Armoured Horse (right-click the Armed Horse Book, then Ctrl+G to ride), Sun and Moon Elixirs, an unlimited Bravery Cape and a Teleportation Ring.
Yang goes straight into your bag, and Z picks up everything around you.
Evenfall Coins come from voting: every vote site pays coins once a day, and seven days in a row pay a bonus.
No wipe: your characters and progress stay when early access ends.
Use a Town Scroll to get back to town at any time (it needs at least 30% HP); new characters get 10.

Want the game in Spanish?

Switch this website to Español (top right): its download is the same client with Spanish menus, items, skills and monster names (quests and server messages stay in English for now). To switch at any time, click Español or English at the bottom of the Evenfall99.exe window (or close the game and double-click Jugar en espanol.cmd or Play in English.cmd in the game folder). Same server, same account.

The game cannot connect

Check the game status at the bottom of this page. If Windows Firewall asks about Evenfall99.exe or Metin2Distribute.exe, allow it. Make sure you started the game from the extracted folder, not from inside the ZIP, then try again a little later.

A file is missing or has changed

Open Evenfall99.exe and press Repair files: it checks every game file and downloads again the ones that are missing or damaged.

Windows shows a security warning

The first time you open Evenfall99.exe, Windows may say it protected your PC: choose More info, then Run anyway. Only use files from this website, and compare the package's SHA-256 checksum with the one under Package details below. If Windows does not let Evenfall99.exe start at all, open Metin2Distribute.exe as before (the game is then not updated). Never turn off your security software to play.

How do updates work?

Start the game with Evenfall99.exe. Each time it opens, it compares your files with the server's list and downloads only the files that changed, each one checked (SHA-256) before it replaces anything. Your settings, screenshots and characters are never touched. If you open Metin2Distribute.exe directly, the game is not updated.

What Evenfall Coins are

Evenfall Coins are a virtual currency for use only inside Evenfall99: in the website store and at the Storekeeper in the game.
They have no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, paid out, exchanged for money or moved to another account.
Coins you earn (voting, playing, gifts) and coins you buy live on the same account and buy the same things.
We may change coin pack prices, bonus coins and what the store sells. A change never touches coins you already have.

Buying a coin pack

Prices are in euro and shown before you pay. 100 coins cost €1; bigger packs include bonus coins.
Payment is taken by Stripe on its own secure page (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and other methods Stripe offers). Your card details never reach our server.
The coins are credited to the account that was signed in when you bought the pack, automatically, as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. If they have not appeared within an hour, open a ticket with your username and the time of payment and we will put it right.
You must be 18 or older to buy, or have your parent or guardian’s permission and use a payment method they allow you to use.

Cancelling and refunds

As a consumer in the EU or the UK you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. Coins are digital content delivered straight away: when you tick the box at checkout you ask us to deliver them immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once they are delivered. That is why coin purchases are not refundable once the coins are on your account, except where the law says otherwise.
If something goes wrong on our side (for example coins that were paid for but never credited and we cannot fix it), we refund the payment in full. Tell us within 14 days of the payment.
Items bought with coins are delivered to your account or character and are not refundable. Time-limited items last for the time shown when you buy them.
If Evenfall99 ever closes for good, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance. Unused coins are not refunded, except for packs bought after that announcement.

If a payment is reversed

If your bank, card issuer or PayPal reverses a payment (a refund we did not agree to, or a chargeback), the coins from that payment are removed from the account.
If those coins were already spent, the account owes the difference: it cannot buy from the website store until a later coin pack settles it. Items bought with those coins may be removed.
Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may lead to the account being closed. Please talk to us first; most problems can be sorted out in a ticket.

Fair play

Coins, items and accounts obtained through fraud, bug abuse, stolen payment methods or by breaking the server rules may be removed or closed without a refund.
Evenfall99 is in early access: features, balance and prices will keep changing. Your characters and coins stay when early access ends.

Your data

For each purchase we store your username, the pack, the amount, the time and Stripe’s payment reference. We do not store card or bank details.
Stripe processes your payment under its own privacy policy. We only see what Stripe shows every merchant (for example the payment method type and the country).
We keep purchase records for as long as the law on bookkeeping requires.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Irish law applies, and as a consumer you keep the protections of the country you live in.

Qué son las Evenfall Coins

Las Evenfall Coins son una moneda virtual que solo sirve dentro de Evenfall99: en la tienda de la web y con el Almacenero del juego.
No tienen valor en dinero. No se pueden retirar, cobrar, cambiar por dinero ni pasar a otra cuenta.
Las monedas que ganas (votando, jugando, regalos) y las que compras viven en la misma cuenta y compran lo mismo.
Podemos cambiar los precios de los packs, las monedas de regalo y lo que vende la tienda. Un cambio nunca afecta a las monedas que ya tienes.

Comprar un pack de monedas

Los precios están en euros y se muestran antes de pagar. 100 monedas cuestan 1 €; los packs grandes incluyen monedas de regalo.
El cobro lo hace Stripe en su propia página segura (tarjeta, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal y otros métodos que ofrezca Stripe). Los datos de tu tarjeta nunca llegan a nuestro servidor.
Las monedas se abonan automáticamente en la cuenta con la que iniciaste sesión al comprar, en cuanto Stripe confirma el pago. Si no aparecen en una hora, abre un ticket con tu nombre de usuario y la hora del pago y lo arreglamos.
Para comprar debes tener 18 años o más, o permiso de tu padre, madre o tutor y usar un método de pago que te autoricen.

Cancelaciones y reembolsos

Como consumidor en la UE o el Reino Unido normalmente tienes 14 días para cancelar una compra hecha por internet. Las monedas son contenido digital que se entrega al instante: al marcar la casilla en el pago nos pides que las entreguemos de inmediato y aceptas que pierdes el derecho a cancelar una vez entregadas. Por eso las compras de monedas no se reembolsan cuando las monedas ya están en tu cuenta, salvo que la ley diga otra cosa.
Si algo falla por nuestra parte (por ejemplo, monedas pagadas que nunca se abonan y no podemos arreglarlo), devolvemos el pago completo. Avísanos en los 14 días siguientes al pago.
Los objetos comprados con monedas se entregan en tu cuenta o personaje y no se reembolsan. Los objetos temporales duran el tiempo indicado al comprarlos.
Si Evenfall99 cerrara definitivamente, lo anunciaríamos con al menos 30 días de antelación. Las monedas sin usar no se reembolsan, salvo los packs comprados después de ese anuncio.

Si un pago se revierte

Si tu banco, la entidad de tu tarjeta o PayPal revierte un pago (una devolución no acordada con nosotros o un contracargo), las monedas de ese pago se retiran de la cuenta.
Si esas monedas ya se gastaron, la cuenta queda debiendo la diferencia: no puede comprar en la tienda de la web hasta que un pack posterior la salde. Los objetos comprados con esas monedas pueden retirarse.
Los contracargos repetidos o fraudulentos pueden suponer el cierre de la cuenta. Habla primero con nosotros: la mayoría de los problemas se resuelven en un ticket.

Juego limpio

Las monedas, objetos y cuentas obtenidos mediante fraude, abuso de errores, métodos de pago robados o incumpliendo las normas del servidor pueden retirarse o cerrarse sin reembolso.
Evenfall99 está en acceso anticipado: las funciones, el equilibrio y los precios seguirán cambiando. Tus personajes y monedas se quedan cuando termine el acceso anticipado.

Tus datos

De cada compra guardamos tu nombre de usuario, el pack, el importe, la hora y la referencia de pago de Stripe. No guardamos datos de tarjeta ni bancarios.
Stripe procesa tu pago según su propia política de privacidad. Solo vemos lo que Stripe muestra a cualquier comercio (por ejemplo, el tipo de método de pago y el país).
Conservamos los registros de compra durante el tiempo que exige la ley contable.

Cambios y legislación

Podemos actualizar estos términos; la fecha de arriba indica cuándo. Se aplica la ley irlandesa y, como consumidor, conservas las protecciones del país en el que vives.
